Backstory Behind Stephanie and Guest
I was introduced to Johnny via my friend Maria. What I appreciate the most about Johnny, is his willingness to be present while also reconnecting to the pain and emotion he has experienced. I get a sense from Johnny that he believes we are all connected somehow. He tells his story not for the purpose of reaching everyone but to make sure it gets to specific people that need it the most.
I connected with Lara on Instagram. From her profile focusing on sobriety, I got a sense for both her intelligence and her ability to commit to joy. Lara is fearless about talking about prescription med abuse knowing full well that “popping pills” is either not talked about at all or dangerously romanticized by popular culture.
