Description

Your Body is Your Communication Buddy! Talking with therapist Hilary Kern about working with your body to heal and help sort through what is troubling your mind.

Show Highlights

The highlights of this show start BEFORE the show when Stephanie arrives to the studio in a green shirt that would literally make her body look invisible in the green screen studio. (certainly not a good look for a show about communicating with your body.)

Catherine Grace O’Connell co-host of Cat & Kaehler without hesitation switched shirts with Stephanie to save the day! Who said women don’t support other women never met Cat!! (Stephanie is so grateful for having this experience with her.)

To start the show, Stephanie shared the “green shirt” experience and what body “sensitivities” she still carries from being a teenager.  She also claimed 2017 as the year of her body!

Hilary not only talked about what it means to be fully in her body, she exhibited it beautifully!

Hilary sharing a memory about an inspiring teacher that helped her see how she could experience the world with curiosity and fullness.

Hillary and Stephanie exploring the connection to living more fully in your body and the connection to the capacity for love.

Hillary handled random table topic questions about love and money like a pro!

Backstory Behind Stephanie and Guest

I met Hilary through my friend Marta. We had a short phone conversation before meeting for the first time in the studio today. Hilary’s commitment to live fully comes across as pure warmth, joy and love. I seriously must of hugged her 10 times today to attempt to show her how much I appreciated her time and thoughtful words. I especially loved her strength exhibited through her vulnerability as she would share what was coming up for in the moment as she answered questions. When I asked her to share tips for being more fully in our bodies, I liked how she honored herself with a careful response. I often feel fast tips/fast content are just another form of fast-food relating that is filling up our time and minds but not contributing to our wellness. Hilary beautifully models what living authentically looks like with care and consideration to people around her. – Stephanie Michele
