Backstory Behind Stephanie and Guest
I was invited to a screening of Wolf, Brittany’s short film because my friend Jadah’s son is in the film. I was really impressed with how she handled the Q&A after the film. She is self aware, compassionate and fierce at the same time. Through her art, she invites everyone to get real with the tough stuff of life and while also finding the beauty in all of it. – Stephanie Michele
Social Challenge of the Week
The Social Challenge for the Week: Work it Out with Art
- Is there something you need to let go?
- Try working through it by creating something.
- Decide your medium. (painting, drawing, poetry, song, dance, film etc.)
- Create it. — If you have a tendency to aim for perfection, set a time restriction for completion.
- Whatever you make, make peace with it. Sit with it and congratulate yourself for your creation.
